Classes & Descriptions
Bend Studio offers 40+ classes each week taught by our certified team of instructors. Choose from classes ranging from heated vinyasa flows and intense workouts, to warm slow flows and reiki relaxation. We pride ourselves in offering classes that are both dynamic and meditative, letting you move your body as well as still the mind & soul.
All ages and abilities are welcome. If you are just beginning, make sure to let your teacher know of any injuries & previous experience!
Hot & Intense
Hot Power Yoga transforms your body and your life. A vinyasa based flow where each instructor brings their own personal touch and creativity to class, keeping it true to their own style. Strengthening sequences filled with fluid movement, balancing, twists and traditional Yoga postures work to enhance the connection between your body and your mind. Classes are typically challenging yet accessible, providing a personal experience no matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced Yogi. Freedom, positivity and an open mind is encouraged in every class. The room is heated to 95 degrees, designed to keep muscles warm and flexible, while removing toxins from your body. By focusing on breath to movement, Hot Power Yoga systematically works the entire body, improving balance and coordination, toning your muscles, promoting weight loss, relieving stress, and increasing overall vitality… the benefits are truly endless! A welcoming environment open to anybody. Modifications and adjustments are always available.
Slow Power Flow
A strong but slow heated flow focused on remaining present throughout the poses. The room is slightly warm keeping the muscles flexible and active while the body is working. There's a focus put on the inhale and exhale while maintaining a pose. Connecting the breath to movement, observance is placed on what shows up for you in your body while remaining engaged. The room is heated to 90 degrees, designed to keep muscles warm and flexible, while removing toxins from your body. By focusing on breath to movement, Slow Power Flow systematically works the entire body, improving balance and coordination, toning your muscles, promoting weight loss, relieving stress, and increasing overall vitality… the benefits are truly endless! A welcoming environment open to anybody. Modifications and adjustments are always available.
Hot Pilates just got hotter! Adding light weights to burn & tone your arms, booty, & legs! Taking all the traditional Joseph Pilates exercises and combining them with upper and lower body exercises for a complete full body sculpt. Weights, the barre , bodyweight exercises, are all thrown in leaving no muscle untouched!
Physically and mentally rewarding class, Yoga Tone amps up your workout routine while continuing to deepen your Yoga practice. This high-energy class will unleash your inner power, boosting your metabolism and toning your body from head to toe. We will move through traditional Yoga poses and compound strength training movements (lightweights optional) to build deeper strength and long lean muscle throughout the entire body. Here you will find a balance of strength training, cardio, and flexibility! Class is typically heated.
Full Body-Core Flow
An overall strengthening and challenging practice with a heavy emphasis on core. Moving through a range of motions with a power yoga flow as a base, we use weights and bodyweight exercises to work every part of the body. Music is pumping, often some throwback tunes to give you motivation and bring some fun into class. This class is designed with exercises that will not only strengthen your core, but also your whole body by activating and working the muscles you need to advance your yoga practice.
The perfect cross training to mix into your yoga practice. We move through a range of exercises designed to strengthen and tone your entire body. Every class is different, and less is more here. With the use of bands, weights, body weight exercises, and some high intensity interval training, you are sure to leave this class feeling both challenged, empowered, and ready for the day.
Barre is a toning class that works to improve balance, flexibility, posture and core strength. Using small movements targets those tiny, hard to reach muscles in your glutes and core that you don't normally think about. Adding in some Pilates based core work on your mat, and some arm toning exercises with light weights, this class provides a full body, low impact workout that will amp up your workout routine and your Yoga practice.
Warm and Relaxing
Reiki Infused Slow Flow
Reiki is a form of energy healing that helps to reduce stress and promotes relaxation. Moving through a gentle, meditative yoga flow while tapping into this life force energy helps to find a balance in both your body and your mind. The room is slightly heated to a warm and comfortable temperature, so you can really dive deep into your relaxation, letting go of whatever you may need to.
Restorative Infused Slow Flow
This class is a blend between Viniyoga and Restorative Yoga. You will warm-up with a gentle Viniyoga flow, holding each posture for up to 8-10 breaths. The second half of the class is a Restorative practice, where each posture is fully prop-supported and held for 5-10 minutes. The focus of this practice is not the quantity of poses, but rather the quality of poses. This class allows your body to slip into the Parasympathetic nervous system, which simulates rest. In turn, you’ll experience a decrease in cortisol levels, improvement of sleep quality, release of tension, and you will create a balance within the nervous system. Expect calming music, low lighting, soothing lavender towels, and a gently heated room.
Take a break from your busy day with this lighthearted community class. A 45 minute flow that will leave you rejuvenated , relaxed and ready to immerse yourself back in your day. This class is unheated so that you can return to your daily routine looking presentable and feeling amazing!
One Love: Reggae Flow
This energizing rhythmic flow offers the best of both worlds. We will offer heart-opening meditations, and find ourselves moving through flows while also carving out time to hold our postures for multiple rounds of breath to cultivate heat and strength in our bodies. All set to the mid-tempo, bass-heavy, heartbeat rhythms found in reggae music. Leave with feelings of love, energy, positivity, and light.
Align + Flow
Align + Flow is a comprehensive yet gentle alignment based slow flow and strength movement experience. We honor that every human body is unique and has its own level of flexibility and limitations. The slower pace will build strength and endurance with control of breath, so it’s gentle, but with a deep approach to reveal body awareness, inner strength, and create a safe space for the mind to re-align with the body. The spine, joints, and muscles are attended to, while mind-calming breath work is interwoven with posture flows. Some postures may be offered on an intermediate level, but layers are always given so that anyone can accommodate their own personal needs.
Yin & Yang Flow
Yin and yang will give both fast and slow movement with a strong focus on the breath. The first half of class we will be flowing through vinyasas focusing on warming up the body (yang energy) and the second half of class will focus on holding poses to stretch and nourish the body (yin energy) This class is accessible for all levels!
In this class we will take a slower approach to our vinyasa flow, holding postures for longer and deeply connecting to our breath. Focusing on our alignment and connecting each breath to movement, this class will help us drop into our bodies and out of our minds.
Seasonal Roof Top Yoga
On the rooftop of Matunuck Oyster Bar, need I say more? What better way to start your day than with a powerful yoga flow gazing out at the pond, ocean scent in your nose. Park across the street at the marina and check in at the host stand!
Join Eileen~The Boujee Hippie~ for a sound healing. Enjoy the soothing vibrations of a crystal bowl sound bath. We will begin the sound bath meditation with a grounding practice and optional card pull. Dress comfortably, bring water, and a pillow/blanket if you prefer to use your own.
